I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Kevin and his crew in LaBelle, Missouri last week...Just to let Kevin know, the three recipients of his hospitality during lunch at Bubba and Doc's, appreciate what he did for baseball during his 14 year career and further appreciate his promotion of hunting sports as we know it. It is unfortunate w are unable to view his programming in Missouri, yet we are certain, he brings to his shows the same competitiveness and drive that has been his monitor throughout his professional life. One of our party was fortunate May 1, to harvest a 24 pound Tom, 1.25" spurs with an 11 inch bear. Seems the hens were finally leaving the Toms alone. Kevin, good luck hunting, be safe and we look forward to meeting you once again. Thanks for the no-hitter.

I just saw your episode featuring the bow hunt in Oregon. I had to take a minute to write and let you know how much I enjoyed the show. There are very few programs that feature western hunts the way most of us do it. I can't watch guys shooting pets over a feeder or even deer coming into a food plot from a box blind. For me, it just doesn't get it. In my opinion, it doesn't do any good for our sport as well. Too many outdoor programs are about the "money shot" and forget that it's not about the harvest, it's about the hunt. Your program almost got my adrenalin going just watching. There is nothing like getting within bow range of a mule deer and trying to wait it out. Always seems like they wait until you blink or turn away to bound out of their bed, like they knew you were there all along. Thanks again for a fine program. I look forward to seeing more of the same.
By the way, my wife and I are doing an unguided drop camp hunt for caribou out of Kotzebue in Sep, a public land DIY elk hunt in unit 22N in AZ in Dec, a DIY mule deer hunt in unit 2B in NM in Nov, and she drew her once in a lifetime tag for oryx on the White Sands Missile Range also in Dec and also DIY. So we know where you're coming from looking for big game on public land out west.
I'll say it one more time, thanks again.

Hello, my name is Scott Fields. I am a professional basketball coach.
I caught your show...
I think you are doing a great job.
As a Professional Coach, I know how tough it is to find the time when we are so busy to be the best in our field.
I have been blessed to have travel the world in my career, and I am a HUGE outdoor enthusiast.
When I have a short break, I would always find the time to get out in the woods with my father in the midwest in Indiana and muzzleloader hunt with him.
I came down with a crippling disease of RA back in '87 and was bedfast for almost a year.
So, I can't archery hunt, as the pain in my joints is more than I can handle.
This is why I took up black powder....
Ethusiastically,
Scott Fields |

Hi, my name is Jack Heavner....I have done a variety of hunting all my life but never for turkey. I am now 60 & disabled so I guess it will never happen! , but I love watching your hunting show on MOR for turkey! I know chicken chicks follow mother hens around. I don't know if turkey chicks follow there "mom" around, but it would be unique to see it! , if it happens?
